The arabic language

Today Arabic is spoken by around 240 million people and is the second language of around 50 million people. Although the language of the Koran, the modern Standard Arabic, is the one used in most newspapers and on the television, the variety of dialects spoken thoughout the Middle East means that some versions of Arabic are almost incomprehensible to some Arabic speakers.
